1st Day & 2nd Year

We decided to stay at Preschool Musical.  Mila loves her teachers, Mrs. Sandra, Mrs. Merrialee and Mrs. Heather and she learned so much last year.  She was so sad to hear that now that school is starting the pools will close,  BUT when she learned that she got new school shoes all was right in her world again!  This is her 2nd year in preschool and she is going monday, wednesday and fridays.  Dancing at School of Ballet Arts on Mondays and Studio One on Tuesdays (both of her aunts are dance teachers)...and she'd like to add cheer...think she is busy enough for a three year old tho?!

These next pictures were from the next monday after school started.
Mila: Mom, don't you think you need to take my picture?
Me: Uh, why?
Mila: It's my first day of school.
Me: No it's not.
Mila: Well, it is for my new boots, so let's take a picture, K!

I worry this girl isn't going to have a good self esstem ;)

Bear Lake

I put of lot of stress into this trip...UN NEEDED stress!  I have been so excited to go for the week with our little family and Marshall and Linds and their little family and some friends but I stressed so much about having my kids by a lake for a whole week, obviously worried about them drowning, and I really worry about bears!  Didn't think that it was a far fetched worry beings I was going to a lake freakin named BEAR lake!!  Both my worries I soon learned after arriving there were silly.  No bears...we were on more of a beach then mountains...bears don't like beaches.  And my kids wanted nothing to do with the water unless we were in the boat...phew!!
The kids get their camping skills from their mama.  I think Chad might have been a little embarrssed?  Niether of them wanted to play in the mud or really do any of the regular bear lake/ camping activitys like looking for frogs, playing with the slimey sticks....ect...of course I want them to be kids and get dirty and have fun but it was nice having them just lay on the beach with me and be content to munch and play in the sand.  We had a great time with my adorable nieces and nephew.  Watching Mila and Rome form bonds with their cousins melts my heart.  They don't even know what amazing friendships they are creating and will always have their cousins there for them, whenever.  Family is very important to me and my cousins are so dear to my heart so I just love this!  Thanks again Marshall and Linds for the invite, we had an absolute blast!!
