TAt's CrAzY

Kenz and I have been friend's since like sixth grade,  we met at Orem Elementary then went to different junior highs and in high school we hooked up again.  After tenth grade we "broke up" and didn't hang out again till a few years ago.  It's funny how God will put someone into your life when he knows that you need them.  When we didn't hang out, I missed her.  She is such a fun little shit!  With her you know that you will have lots of laughs and maybe even get into a fight :)  Kidding, that was back in high school...no more fights...O wait, other than when we were at the Holy Cow boutique and some girl decided to throw Kenz some attitude.  I hear behind me "Your daughter doesn't have to be such a bitch" I look over and Kenz is ready to throw down with some chick and her mom, Ahahah!!  Kenz and I were 8 months and like 6 months pregnant mind you AND had our baby girls with us.  I just thought, "O no, here we go!"  I got the same warm feeling in my stomach that I would get in high school when big Tongan girls or just a bunch of white girls would wanna kick our asses.  See, Kenz can back it up.  Me, I'm a freakin chicken.  I could always talk crap in the comfort of my own car that I could just drive away in.  Anyway, the point of this story is you never really know what your gonna get when you are with her!
She and her little family are moving away for 6 MONTHS!!!  So sad!  So Kenz wanted to do a girls day just her and I before she leaves.
She came and picked me up and we just started drivin.  We hadn't made any plans, just flyin by the seat of our pants for the day.  We went and got Chai's then went to Qunicy's boutique.  After the boutique she said "Where to now?"  I threw out some ideas...movie, more shopping, go and get a tattoo!!!  She said "Let's go get a tattoo!"  "Really?!...okay!!"  When I mentioned tattoo's I didn't really think we would actually go and do it.
She drove us to Lost Art in SLC, we walked in and the receptionist informed us that we needed an appointment.  Duh, why didn't we call before?  We walked back to the car and called Big Deluxe, they took appointments first come first serve.  Off we went!  Big Deluxe got us right in!  We told the girl what we wanted and she drew them up for us.  I wasn't nervous until I got in the tattoo chair.  All I could think was, "what if this chick sucks at tattooing?"  So, I ask her, "how long have you been tattooing for?"  Thinking that her reply would be like fifteen years or so.  She apparently looked a lot older than she was...6 years is all that she had been tattooing for. I look down at her knuckles and see what looks like a tattoo that she did herself and it wasn't very good....at all!  "Son of a!!...I should have made Kenz go first so if she sucks I can back out!!"  Kidding!!!...but really!  I started to get really nervous.  I am a "worst case scenario" type girl picturing what my foot could become.  When I am nervous, I talk alot.  I tried to strike up a conversation with Deb, the tattoo artist but she wasn't really having it.  Looked at Kenz and she is giving me the "shut up, Jenn"  look.  It took like an hour for Deb to finish both of us and by the end of Kenz's tattoo I think we had won Deb over...at the end we were all talking, laughin, throwin down the F-word, I really think that the F word maybe is what bonded us, Deb's gangsta, for sure!

I loved how they turned out!  Kenz got a T and a V, for Tevita (her hubs) and V for Vea and Viv (her babes).  I got three little birds representing my little family of course and the three little birds in Bob Marley's song "Every little thing is gonna be alright"  Whenever I am having anxiety, I turn on Bob and that song just calms my soul, as cheesy and crazy as it sound that song has got me through some of my hardest times!  So I am hoping that when I am feeling anxious about something I can look down and know that EvErY LitTlE ThiNg iS GonNa Be AlRighT!!
Loved this day!

Snowgirl

I am a little embarrassed to say... this was Mila's first time playing in the snow.  Chad and I are not fans of the snow, at all!!  Chad works out in it all day so the last thing that he wants to do is go out and play in it and I just have a bad attitude about it.  Plus, I have no snow clothes.  For Mila's birthday last year, Chad went and bought her some snow clothes and then she never got to use them.  So, in these pictures you will notice that her pants are a little too short.  We had mittens this morning but after we got home from church the mittens were gone.  Mila has some pretty good hiding places, sure they will show up soon, anyway we improvised.  She had a mitten on one hand and a sock on the other, perfect!
Riding on her "toboggan"

Throwing snowballs at Mama

Making her snowgirls head

I searched the kitchen for stuff for the snowgirls face but all that I came up with was some candy hearts leftover from Valentine's Day and a red bow for her hair.  Mila was a little upset that we didn't have carrots for her nose....but whattayado?  Here is the finished product!

After she was done playing in the snow we came inside and had some hot chocolate with marshmallows.  She told me that she had fun, she just wished that the snow was a little warmer.  Ha, that's my girl!

Pretty good Sunday afternoon!

"Valetimes"

Best gift ever!

I know, Valentines day is supposed to be about you and your love but let's face it...Chad and I are boring!  When we do go out just the two us, which is like never, we are always wishing that the two little rug rats were with us.  So a couple days before Valentines I was on the Internet looking for some fun, creative recipes that I could whip up on Valentines.  We don't like to go out on  Feb 14th because it is to dang crowded...and we wanted to give or babysitters the night off.  Although, mom and dad would have probably been happy to have them!  Anyway, so Mila was watching t.v. and a commercial came on for Chuck E. Cheese and of course she asks, "MOoom, can we PLEEEASSE go to Chuck E. Cheese???"  So when Chad came home that night, I hit him up about the idea and he was totally game, I actually think that he was pretty excited!
Valentine's Day fell on a Tuesday.  And Tuesdays are really busy for Mila, she has school that morning and dance in the afternoon.  Usually by the end of the day she has had many meltdowns because she is so tired and hasn't napped because she is so busy!  This day was exceptionally dramatic because all she had eaten the whole freakin day was sugar, sugar and more sugar and she fell at dance and scrapped her nose, so she was a little off.  We had a minor break down when we got home from dance.  Bless her heart, ha and mine!  And I was thinking, "Shoot, she is gonna be to tired and ornery and we aren't going to be able to go tonight and I am going to have to figure out what to cook,"  I like to cook, but not when there is nothing in the house to cook and I have to make something up,  it would have been one of those nights.  But my baby girl rallied and by the time Chad got home she was in good spirits and ready to go and party!

We got there at around six and didn't leave till eight thirty!!  Chad says he gets the same high there trying to win tickets as he does in Vegas.  Seriously, Chad!?!  Would have been nice to know a few thousand dollars left in Vegas later.  But good to know now.  Next time he gets the Vegas itch, I'll just send him to Chuck E. Cheese with $20 and he can shut the place down! ;)  One more dollar,babe...I just need four more tokens, he's funny

I don't care what anyone says, Chuck E. Cheese is a classy establishment!  Kidding, but we did have a ball and I would take Chuck E. Cheese over a fancy smanchy restaurant any day of the week.  I don't mind white trash...what you see is what you get.  Much better then some country club idiot trying to impress all of his friends with all of his things.  And as far as spending Valentine's Day with Chad alone, we have the rest of our lives to be just us and just a few short years with our kiddos before they want to go out on their own dates, so we will probably keep the tradition of going out as a family.  It  was nice and I can't tell you how dang blessed I am to have them!  Love you forever, my funny Valentine!

Big day for baby brother!

Mila is THREE!!

Do  we really have a three year old?  Seriously, how did that happen??

Fourth of July
A little bit about Mila bumbelbeela:  She couldn't be any sweeter if she tried!  Though, the girl can throw down some attitude.  I'm afraid she is the "mother's curse" that my mom swared she didn't wish on me, yeah right!  Sometimes I sware I feel like I am arguing with my self.  I understand her argument, it is hard not to back down.  She loves danceshe dances at School of Ballet Arts with her Aunt Mal and at Studio one with Aunt Steviee, what a lucky girl!!  She loves going to school, Preschool Musical has been such a good experience and she is a little sponge and learning so much!  She loves playing dress up, changes her outfit maybe like fifty times a day.  Loves playing pretend and loves her imaginary friends Jullia, Peter Pan, Michael, Fifal and my two favorites Tony and Vinnie. (Aparently she has been hanging out in the Bronx?)  All of these guys keep her really busy, she is constantly bossing them around and plays all day with them.  She loves her baby brother and is such a help.  She has never been jealous of him for which I am very thankful!!  She has her papa wrapped around her little finger.  Loves to give her Uncle T.J. a hard time, she makes him work for it...I think it's funny.  Adores her cousins!!  Loves going and playing at their house and hates when it is time to go.  Loves all of her aunt and Uncles.  Her favorite shows are Wonder Pets and Dora.  We are almost out of the Cailou stage!  Thank God. can't stand that whiny little Canadian.  She loves all the "boy" Disney movies like Peter Pan, Robin Hood, Jungle book.  The princess ones kinda bore her, sad!  She loves and by loves I mean has a bit of an addiction to chocolate mike.  I should own stalk in Nesquick!  I always joke with my dad that he is paying the bill when she has to go to the dentist because he started the bad habit. She loves barbies, yay!!  Loves to be outside, she is defiantly fueled by sunshine just like her daddy.  She loves to pick ALL of Nana and Papa's flowers.  One day dad counted and she had picked 76 flowers in a matter of like thirty minutes...nana and papa soon planted more so she had something to pick.  She isn't too fond of sharing but is slowly getting better at it, it is a work in progress.  It is in her blood tho, me and my mom are horrible sharers so we are all learning together.  She hates bath time and washing her hair.  She hates getting her hair done but likes to be all gussied up with bows and all.  She is terrible at bedtime.  We start bedtime at 9:30 and usually by 10:30 she is down.  But I know that that is my doing.  Her best friend is Vea, she tells me often "Mom, I just love Vea" those two are two peas in a pod and I worry about them in 10 years!  They are so cute together.  She loves to go to the salon and "work" on the mannequin, she gets her comb, spray bottle and clips and with a very serious look on her face she works away.  This little girl is such a blessing in our lives and I just don't know what I would do without her.  I hope that she takes after her friend, Peter Pan and never grows up!
Before her first ballet performance, she stole the show
Meeting baby brother, so sweet

Tinkerbell
First day of school, very excited!!
Getting ready for her Christmas program

Christmas 2011

Chistmas Eve mass at the Cathedral
What a Christmas it was with an almost three year old and an eight month old.  Our wish list this year charged a bit which led to LOTS of presents, too many maybe.  First Mila asked for a barbie house.  So me being the smart shopper I am I bought it in October....duh, she wouldnt change her mind before Christmas....o wait.   Then flipping through the toy catalog she found a Dora kitchen, a bright colorful Dora Kitchen (with instructions only in spanish....Santa dosen't speak spanish) that she just had to have.  My first mistake was letting her look  through the toy catalog, she wanted EVERYTHING, my bad!!  My second mistake was telling her to look through it and make a list of what she wanted, how could I not get her everything on the list?  Afterall, she was a really good girl this year.  Neveragain, next year their will be a limit and I probablly wont start shopping in July.  Rome, he was easy....he got a learning train.  He loved it but would have been equally happy with just a box.  Chad spoiled me this year.  We got into a little skuff the day before Christmas Eve which happened to be the day that he went shopping.  So he felt bad and went above and beyond..guilt sometimes is great. I love him O so much!!  I have decided that I may just make him mad the day before shopping every year, worked out nice.  He got his Christmas present a little early this year.  An inversion table.  He was in dire need when I gave it to him.  His job is hard on the ol' back so this was a perfect gift and he loves it.  Hangs upside every moring and night.  Though I was happy for Christmas to be over, so much stress I was sad not to be able to threten with Santa, although by Christmas Mila had apparently heard the line "Santa's watching" to many times.  One of the last times I used it, I said "Mila, I hope Santa isn't watching you right now" she answered "yeah, me too!"  What a lil stinker!
Wearing their beanies that Santa brought.  So handsome!!
Loves his redbull, just like daddy ;)
She immediatly started cooking!

My KidDoS

How Freakin cute are they?  I mean, really!!  There is a mother in Mila's preschool class that took these pictures.  I have been wanting to get family pictures but before we do, my fat ass has GOT to lose my baby weight.  Having a 9lb 10 ounce kid, kinda rocked my world!  Sometimes I wonder will I ever love.or even like my body again?  Not complaining, Rome is so worth every stretch mark and every pair of pants sitting in the basement mocking me!!  Just sayin, when I am more comfortable with myself I will get professional pictures done.  Until then, I decided that I better get theirs taken before they grow up on me!  I was really happy with how they turned out....but look at my kids...of course they turned out great :)
They love eachother.  End of story.

I guess I'm a "blogger"

I guess that I'm a blogger.  I have been a "blog stalker" for quite some time.  It's always a little awkward when you run into someone who's blog you have been stalking and know EVERYTHING about them...and they have no clue.  Anyway, Kenz has been telling me that I need to start a blog.  First I was like, no way...I don't want some creeper "stalking" me.  Then the other day, Chad asked me why I don't take any pictures.  I got to thinking, geesh these kids of mine are growing up way to fast, I DO need to take more pictures and I need to scrapbook them!  Then I remembered that I am not a Mormon housewife, I don't scrapbook!!  I'll blog!  As hard as I have tried not to be a typical "Utah" girl, I feel I am failing miserably!  Married by 21, knocked up by 24 and now I am blogging!!!  Owell, I do have an amazing life.  Married to the sexiest, hardest working man. I have two of the most beautiful children!!  I live in an amazing house and I do what I love for a living.  So, let the blogging journey begin!
